Engineer-designed concrete sleepers in plain, charcoal, sandstone, stack stone and timber-look finishes, with hot-dip galvanised C channel and H channel posts — supplied across Melbourne’s north-west.
A concrete sleeper retaining wall is built from reinforced concrete sleepers slotted between galvanised steel posts — H channels between sleepers and C channels at the ends and corners.
Our sleepers are Australian made by a local family business, 40 MPa concrete grade (complying with AS3600/2009) with 2 × N10 ACRS-compliant reinforcement bars, and are engineer designed and certified. With the 2 m standard sleeper you can build a retaining wall up to 1 m high.

Hot-dip galvanised steel posts sized to the sleeper thickness. H channels sit between sleepers; C channels finish the ends and corners.
Corner C channels are heavy duty, hot-dip galvanised, won’t rust and can be used straight away with no need to paint or treat — suitable for retaining walls up to 1600 mm high.

The three things to decide before you order — we can help with all of them.
Sleepers are made in 50, 75 and 100 mm thicknesses; the posts are sized to suit. Heavier-duty sleepers are used for taller walls.
H channels between sleepers, C channels at the ends and corner C channels where the wall turns. Lengths from 900 mm to 3000 mm allow for the wall height plus the concreted footing.
Plain grey or charcoal for a clean look, sandstone and stack stone for a masonry look, or Ashwood for a timber-look wall without the maintenance.
